A journey through history
in Middle England
Would you (or your society/club) like to hear a talk about this curious and unusual topic? See below for details.

Attention Societies, Clubs etc.: I have a very interesting illustrated talk on this topic, which has gone down well with a wide range of audiences (History Societies, Rotary, Probus, Tangent). Using pictures of the buildings and specially drawn illustrations, I take you around the countryside in and around Warwick, Stratford-on-Avon and on to Staffordshire. A lot has changed since 1605, but in secret places, often hidden from view, it is still possible to catch the spirit of that notorious November. There were many distinguished families living in the Midlands who were involved in the Plot. Some of their fine houses are there, some lived in by the same families even today.

I would be happy to deliver this talk to your group without a fee (reasonable travel expenses, plus a chance to sell a few of my books suffice). Contact me on conall@fsmail.net
